YOUTH PROGRAMS

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

Community Service Hours

For the last 30 years Sutton Lions have been in the community, working to raise money for a variety of needs, including local charitable giving such as Sutton Food Pantry, Fuel and Hardship Funds!  Volunteer with us for community service hours and double your contribution by helping us to raise funds and give back!

Annual Peace Posters

International Competition

For the last 30 years Lions clubs around the world have proudly sponsored the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups. This art contest for kids encourages young people worldwide to express their visions of peace.

The theme of the 2017-2018 Peace Poster Contest is "The Future of Peace." Young people – ages 11, 12 and 13 years old –
are encouraged to express their visions of peace through art in the Lions International Peace Poster Contest.

Lions All State Band

State Program

The Lions All State Band is an extraordinary and challenging musical experience for high school students, top notch entertainment for the Lions, Lioness, Leos and guests, an introduction to the Lions organization, and the opportunity to meet and make friends for life.

Lions Youth Speech Contest

State Program

Our Youth Speech Competition provides an opportunity for students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 to speak publicly and freely on a designated topic of general interest. The competition starts at the local club or school level and proceeds through several levels of competition ending several months later with a state wide competition. In between there are zone, region, and district levels of competitions where the winner of each level has the opportunity to proceed to the next level.
