The Sutton Lions Foundation and American Legion Riders are joining forces to bring this new annual tradition to our beautiful town. “Flags of Honor” on The Common. The Common will display 10’ lighted flags during the weeks of Veterans Day and Memorial Day. We are offering sponsorship for these flags for our charity fundraiser. You will also be able to provide us a note to or about the veteran you are sponsoring for the flag. We will attach a laminated message of this veteran to your flag. Those two weeks, our Town Common will be a monument to thank our present veterans and a memorial to remember those who have sacrificed for our freedom. Right now we are selling the flags for $25/each for Memorial Day Week, If you have already purchased last fall for Veterans and Memorial Day, then don’t worry because your flag will be honored this Memorial Day. 100% of the profits are being donated by The Sutton Lions and American Legion Riders to the restoration of Sutton’s cemeteries.
